A Bit of Background on Our Big News
If there’s one lesson to be learned from the world of rostering and workforce management, it’s that change is a constant. Business plans evolve. Strategies require adjustment. Staffing levels and talent pools ebb-and-flow. It never ends. The day-to-day activities associated with running a business are diverse, numerous, and stressful so if we can make your job a little easier, well, then we’re doing our job… and it’s a job we’re take very seriously.
To ensure we’re keeping pace with the changes you face as you grow your own business, we’re constantly seeking ways to do more: offer more services, develop new functionality, and continue to act more like a partner than a vendor. Eighteen months ago we took a bold step in this journey by becoming part of the WorkForce Software family, and today I’m proud to announce another milestone in the evolution of our company.
When you visited our website today, you likely noticed a few changes… most notably a new logo, a new name, and a new look-and-feel. Allow me to take a moment and explain the reason behind the updates:
- First and foremost, as part of the WorkForce Software family, we have an opportunity to bring an entirely different array of solutions and services to large businesses in Australia and New Zealand. This is a segment of the market we have not been able to serve to-date, but with the introduction of WorkForce Software’s WorkForce Suite to our product portfolio, we’ll now be able to dramatically expand our footprint throughout the APAC region.
- To provide additional consistency and alignment to WorkForce Software’s product naming conventions, we’ve also changed the name of our RosterLive product to EmpLive: a name that represents both the dynamic nature of our solution and the place we take alongside the award-winning WorkForce Suite.
- And finally, we’ve also re-branded the company as WFS Australia: A WorkForce Software Company. As we continue to grow – throughout Australia, New Zealand, and beyond – this draws closer alignment to our parent company and all the momentum, praise, and success it has earned since its inception in 1999.
We’re all incredibly excited about these changes and, more importantly, we’re thrilled about the additional resources, experience, and expertise we can now put to work for you.
So what’s in a name? In this case, 16 years of experience, an impressive (and ongoing) growth trajectory, and the opportunity to become part of a broader global community. What won’t change, however, is our unwavering dedication to your ongoing success.
